Why does my 8-year-old son act like a 14-year-old girl? Are there hormones involved? Why all the drama? The sad thing is I know that about the time HE outgrows this - my 4-year-old daughter will start.
I'll explain about the hole later. It's a long, sad tale. *sigh*

Riley's kindergarten teacher told me that the "terrible two's" really translate into 2,4,6,and 8 -- there's an ongoing push for independence. Since my children are exactly 2 years apart, that means really good times every other year in my home. Personally, I think it's just an old wives tale that makes us feel better -- b/c then it gets us to "well, they're almost a teenager, what do you expect?"
NIce Sarah... I think I am dreading it all the more. Meg cries about EVERYTHING... what will I do when both are doing it?
