It is so much nicer to have you all just across town, and getting Kenny and Abbie without all the miles! Pop says it saves on gas too!! We love you all !Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20377264.post-1166110819339432212006-12-14T09:40:00.000-06:002006-12-14T09:40:00.000-06:00Our family has grown to love Abilene, too and I'm ...Our family has grown to love Abilene, too and I'm very happy we are stationed here and I know I'll be sad when it's time to leave. The people are one of the best things about the city.
Something strange we noticed when we first arrived. We were at the intersection waiting to pull into the main gate of the AFB and there was stuffed animal gorilla tied to the pole across from us. It was there for a long time. Now, it's gone and a teddy bear is in it's place. STRANGE!

Also, it cracks me up how people say they are "fixin to" here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20377264.post-1166107713292434502006-12-14T08:48:00.000-06:002006-12-14T08:48:00.000-06:00Born and raised here. I like to visit and see other places but when we are through, Abilene is home. I hope you stay here always Denise. I love you and our other sisters. I would miss you so much.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20377264.post-1166102148937954182006-12-14T07:15:00.000-06:002006-12-14T07:15:00.000-06:00I loved your post. You just take for granted what a nice, relaxing town Abilene really is. And where else do you get to see bricks hanging from trees? Thats just stuff you don't get to see everyday.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20377264.post-1166031551599504582006-12-13T11:39:00.000-06:002006-12-13T11:39:00.000-06:00Maybe they swing standing up.
