Just one more sign that the country is going to hell in a handbasket!

I agree that is very scary and we are going to be quite tired of her the closer the election gets.

Did you get my emails?

When I was a senior in high school my political science teacher said the first woman president would be assasinated. (Not that I wish her dead) I always think of that when I hear a woman is running. I can't stand her. I am all about a woman running, but anybody but her.

That woman makes me ill. Maybe Condoleeeeeza Rice (I have no idea how to spell her name) will run against her. She's got 2 things going for her (well...way more than that actually..but 2 big things that will get votes)..she is black...AND she is woman.

I hope that last comment didn't sound racist..because it definately wasn't meant to. Its just we've never had a black president OR a woman president. Well...actually we've had TWO black presidents...oh wait...thats on 24...wrong world.

I LOVE it -- she and Barak are going to self-destruct. It will be fun to watch, in a nauseating sort of way. But, absolutely we will be completely tired of her face and voice by November 2008.

My first thought when I heard this? "OMG!" I grew up in Arkansas during the Clinton dynasty and never dreamed that my whole adult life would be dominated by their presence.

Who did these guys cut a deal with? Please, Condi, run against her. PLEASE.

anna: I don't think your comment was racist. But the truth is that a good president is not determined by race or gender, so I'm not sure those two "qualifications" would be good gages in the decision making process. It's like saying you'd vote for so-and-so because he or she has smooth heels or full lips.

I think it would be great if a woman was president. Around the world and throughout history there have been many great leaders who happened to be women. But just because we elect a woman doesn't mean she'd make a good president, necessarily.

In my opinion, it doesn't even matter if I share the same ethical and religious values with a candidate - because even baseing my decision on those "qualifications" doesn't guarantee me a smart pres. either!

Too bad Bill can't run again :)
