I Was Drunk The Day My Mama Got Outta Prison

Monday 3:05 pm: Riding in the car with Abbie and the radio is on a country station.

First song: "She Ain't Much Fun Since I Stopped Drinking" Abbie asks "Why isn't she any fun anymore?"

Second song: "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off" Abbie says "That's a funny song."

Monday 3:12 pm: I turn the station to Christian music.

LOL that's country music for you. And if you switch it to "top 40" type of music all you will hear about is having sex & everything leading up to it. So yeah, I pretty much listen to 98.1 if I am up for some music. I have to admit though, I'm addicted to talk radio.

I grew up on Country and I think I turned out okay...but maybe I am the only one who think I turned out okay?! We still stay tuned in to christian radio...or Natalie likes to hear "Mommy's Station", which is a CD of the praise team. She thinks I have my own personal radio station where I sing anytime, anywhere, anything she wants! So funny :)

We have this problem daily! My kids pick up songs pretty easily.. nothing worse than a child singing "honky tonk bodonka donk" or whatever it is! Good luck!
